Hey beautiful people, I hope you’re all doing really well.
As you can tell from the title, I have a new, very interesting healthy dessert to share with you guys today.
Now, I do realise that dessert hummus sounds really weird – I almost didn’t try this myself. But over the years of experimenting with bean brownies, chickpea blondies and much more, I’ve learnt not to judge before trying and tasting for myself!
Ingredients:
1 can (400g) chickpeas – drained and rinsed
4-5 tablespoons liquid sweetener of choice – I used maple syrup
3 tablespoon tahini (smooth
1/2 cup hazelnut milk (or milk of choice)
2-3 tablespoons raw cacao
Cacao nibs (optiona)
Method:
Simply place all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. Consistency is key for this one so do make sure you use a good food processor and blend long enough to reach a smooth consistency.
Dip fresh strawberries, apple slices or seed (non salted) crackers and enjoy – so super yum! It tastes a bit like chocolate spread but nuttier – YUM!
This sweet dip is:
High in fibre
High in protein
Low in carbohydrates
Low in sugar
Loaded with healthy ingredients
TOTALLY DELICIOUS!
Enjoy!

That’s it from me for today – I’ll be back with a new blog post Every Single Saturday 🙂
