I know this sounds strange, but all you need is a couple of ripe avocados, a couple of pantry items, and presto – you’ve got yourself a delicious, light, creamy chocolate mousse ππ«
I know, I know, avocado don’t seem like your typical dessert ingredients BUT they’re naturally very mild in flavor and mixed with the rest of the ingredients in this recipe, you would never guess that the base for this is avocado!
Here’s how to make it…
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
1/4 cup raw cacao
1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
3 tablespoons honey (or any liquid sweetener you prefer)
Pinch of salt
Method:
Scoop out the flesh of two ripe avocados into your food processor together with the rest of the ingredients listed above and bled until totally smooth. Make sure you blend until no green avocado specks remain and until mixture is light and airy.
Then place the mix into a bowl and refrigerate for a minimum of two hours before serving. Before refrigerating, you could also add some chocolate chips to make it even more delicious and decadent.
