Good morning beautiful people ๐
I hope you’re all doing well!
I made some new energy bites for an event we had over the weekend and they went over REALLY well with everyone there – plus I really liked them too AND they take all of 5 minutes to make, are LOADED with nutrients that our bodies need AND they’re delicious…
So, before I make another batch, I decided to share the recipe with all of you to try out for yourselves.

Ingredients:
200 g Medjool dates (thees are the soft squidgy ones)
100 g rolled oats
50 g dried cranberries
100 g peanut butter
50 ml rice milk (or any plant based milk)
Method:
Chuck everything in a food processor, blend until all ingredients are incorporated and the ‘batter’ forms a ball in the machine. This will take about a minute. Rolls into balls or form into bars, refrigerate for about half an hour and enjoy ๐ That’s literally it! How easy is that?
This mix made 18 good sized balls – haha I re-wrote that a few times (good sized balls sounds ridiculous I know, but that’s what they were, I can’t think of a better way to put it) anyway, they’re delicious and nutritious, so there!

These make an excellent breakfast on the go or pre or post workout snack – they are loaded with complex (slow releasing) carbohydrates, fiber, good fats and so much flavor you won’t believe how healthy they actually are!
