Flour-less Brownies 😋❤️

Monday mornings are a bit bleh for most of us, am I right?

This weekend I spent some time meal-prepping a lot of different things (which I’ll share with you all soon) just to make my life a little bit easier this week.

One of the (many) things I made, were these flour-less brownies which are AMAZING.

So, my Monday morning isn’t really bleh at all this week – my morning started out pretty great – yoga, gratitude, coffee and brownies – all before 6.30am!

These literally take just 5 minutes to put together and 20 minutes to bake – that’s it!

Ingredients:

2 very ripe bananas

1 egg

1/2 cup peanut butter

1 – 2 tablespoon/s raw cacao

1 – 2 tablespoons honey / any other liquid sweetener

1/4 cup chocolate chips (or as many as you like)

Start by pre-heating your over to 180C.

In a large bowl, mash bananas into a paste – this is the base for the brownies but they don’t taste much like banana when they’re done baking. To the mashed bananas add peanut butter and mix well. Then add 1 beaten egg, the cacao and sweetener. I sometimes prefer adding 2 tablespoons of cacao instead of 1 because I like the brownies to be extra chocolaty! This is really just a matter of preference. At the end, add your chocolate chips.

Make sure everything is incorporated well, transfer mixture to a small lined baking dish and add to the over. Bake for 20 mins and then enjoy! Check that they are done by inserting a toothpick in the center of the dish – once it comes out clean, they’re done baking!
